Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
As I was recently reminded this weekend due to an almost 24 hour blackout at home, books are a great resource to have when you have no internet, very minimal light during the early winter nights and a dying phone/tablet. Books are clearly an investment for such a time, am I right?
Accordingly, this week’s TTT is looking at my winter TBR. Normally in the past, I listed out new books coming out at this time that I want to put on high priority in my TBR, but as there were so many great books that came out recently I have yet to read still, this following list will be a combination of ARCs releasing in the winter and books that have come out that I have yet to read.

Have you read any of these titles yet? I know the list of recent releases have all been rated fairly highly so I’m hoping I’ll be like the rest and enjoy them.
But yes, the moral of this story is to always, and I mean always, have a book on hand in case of blackouts.

I’m a weirdo who loves when the power goes out. I just grab my flashlight and read until it comes back. It’s great. I hope you love these books!
