Hello everyone! Itโs officially the end of spooky season. I feel like itโs been a month long thing going on, but I can say I am looking forward to Christmas next. Is thinking about December too soon?
Anyway, this month has been a little busy at work (only going to get worse next month), but it has also been a good reading month for me.
Did I read a scary book? Yes. Did I want to continue doing so? Not really. I kinda treasure my sleep a little too much and donโt want to stay up until 5:30 in the morning to finish the book again.
What did I read this month?
As it will be evident below, I had a mediocre month wherein the books I read didnโt super impress me but I also didnโt dislike them so at least thereโs that.
I feel like September has completely just flew by. Like, what happened this month??
Lifeโs been a juggle act lately. With caring for my cute (but sometimes monstrous) puppy and starting an official bookstagram for this blog, Iโm barely having time to breathe at night after a long day of work. How do you all manage to make things work out while engaging with social and the people around you?
Nonetheless, I had a great reading month. Work was slow in the beginning so I had more chance to read, including listening to an audiobook while working. That was a wonderful experience but only if I do a super mundane task at work that doesnโt require a lot of focus.
Without further ado, letโs dig into September!
What did I read this month?
Some of these reads were re-reads because I was in the mood for something cute and quick during some late nights. I think if it werenโt for the fact that some of these books were super long (ahem, JLA and Susan Dennard), Iโd have read at least 10 this month otherwise.
Good morning friends and fellow book readers! I canโt believe summer is almost over and the month of August has come to its end. I am officially off probation from my job this week (yay!) and hope the busyness at work will go down a little so I can enjoy some more time to read and relax after hours.
With the end of August comes school again, and I wonder how the school year would look this time. I donโt know where you live but here at least, itโs hopefully going still be done safely while balancing kidsโ educations and experience.
How have your summers been? Did you have a good month of reading? Because of my work, I havenโt had as much time to read this month but I did manage to read a number nonetheless while juggling weddings and catching up with friends on a patio. Letโs begin, shall we?
