Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Ships and Quotes

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I’m switching it up this week for TTT as I don’t really recall specific moments in books unless I’ve reread it multiple times. Too many stories, you know? I’m not an annotater by any means ‘cause that feels too much like homework to me. Reading is for fun, but the significant things do stick out and stay with me for years.

That being said, I’ve decided to highlight my fave ships from books and the quotes that represent their relationship to me. Essentially, why do I feel they’ve touched my heart without trying to give away any spoilers.

Hope you enjoy!

Happy Tuesday in November! I’m not sure about you, but I am already feeling the mood shifting slightly as we head towards the end of the year.

That being said, I’m feeling the weight of trying to meet my reading goal for the year as well. 2022 is both ending far too soon and not soon enough.

This week’s TTT is all about those books I want to start or finish. And there are definitely some series in particular I really wanted to get to.

If you’ve read some of these and enjoyed it, please tell me so I can figure out how to prioritize! (And keep me accountable).

Top Ten Tuesday: Villains You Can’t Help But Love

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

It’s a little weird to be saying it’s officially November but it is. It’s been one heck of a year with a lot of ups and downs personally and for those around me. I can honestly say I’m ready for 2022 to be over but at the same time, it’s felt like a blur in some ways too.

On that less-than-cheery note, let’s dig into this week’s TTT. I had to alter it a little as I don’t particularly care for unlikable characters (hence the unlikable) and frankly can’t remember them for that reason. So here’s to those villains that are definitely villainous in the context of the story yet are people I can’t help but like in some way. Maybe they’re redeemable?
