Top Ten Tuesday: Memorable Book Titles

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I don’t know about you, but I feel the summer months have just been flying by so quickly. I barely have time to do much here with you all, but I try to never miss out on a TTT. This week’s topic was about hilarious titles, but I’m not one to read a lot of funny things (also, I think my sense of humour is super specific?) so I have tweaked the topic to memorable titles (that may or may not be funny in some people’s eyes).

If you laughed or at least smiled at any of these titles, please give a thumbs up or something in the comments below! It’d totally make my day 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday: Books With Excellent Worldbuilding

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Hello friends! It’s officially August and over halfway through the year. How has time flown by so fast already? Sometimes a month can feel like a blink of the eye.

I’m currently sleep deprived after an extra long but fun weekend so this post will be kept a little shorter – which may very well not be all that short, if you know me. Originally, this week’s TTT was about places I’d love to visit in books, but I feel I have already touched upon most of the places I would LOVE to live/visit in books in a previous TTT post.

So for this week, I chose to highlight some books I thought had excellent world building. To me, this means the world is described well enough that it can exist outside of the characters we follow in the stories. It is both imaginative and realistic in the way it is run.

Let me know if you agree with my choices in the comments below.

July 2022 Wrap Up and TBR

I hope July has been a good one for you. It’s been a whirlwind of hang outs and fun for me, but that obviously means reading has taken a back seat to everything. Which is totally fine and something that we should NEVER feel guilty about. Live life the way that is fulfilling to you and always place your priorities towards what is most important. While I adore reading, life is most precious when I spend time with my loved ones. So don’t ever feel like reading has to take #1 in your life because it really doesn’t unless you want it to.

That being said, I did have some good reading moments this month in between the fun, especially when my introverted self needed some much deserved recharging after all the social activities. Let’s see what I got up to this July!

What did I read this month?
