They say not to judge a book by its cover, but let’s be real, how many of us have fallen in love with a book by sight alone? We may have never heard of the author before, or it may even be book 2 in a series, but that doesn’t prevent us from stopping in our tracks and taking a closer look at it.
Are you as guilty of this as I am? My previous post was just about all the special editions I loved this year, so you know it’s clearly a trend with me.
Now that 2024 is just around the corner (I know! It feels so surreal!), there have been plenty of announcements going about some of next year’s books. Whether these are highly anticipated books or debuts or totally unheard of to me before, the below covers caught my eye and I definitely check them out more in the new year.

- A Lady’s Guide to Marvels and Misadventures by Angela Bell
- All This Twisted Glory by Tahereh Mafi
- Voyage of the Damned by Frances White

- The Rule Book by Sarah Adams
- Kill Her Twice by Stacey Lee
- Night for Day by Roselle Lim

- Song of the Six Realms by Judy I. Lin
- The Love Remedy by Elizabeth Everett
- Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli

- Destroy the Day by Brigid Kemmerer
- The Darkness Within Us by Tricia Levenseller
- A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal
Do you like any of these covers? Are there any new releases coming out next year you’re excited for based on cover alone (or in conjunction with synopsis)? Let me know so I can grow my TBR!

So many books on your list are on mine too! Adding All This Twisted Glory and Kill Her Twice right now, they both sound amazing!!! 😍😍😍
