Top Ten Tuesday: Mainstream Popular Authors that I still have NOT Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Hello book friends! This weekโ€™s TTT was a fun list to make. Iโ€™ve followed along with many of the authors I mention below, sometimes for YEARS, that I forget (occasionally) that I havenโ€™t actually read their books yet. And itโ€™s never about them personally. I just havenโ€™t had the time yet as the TBR continues to grow every week.

If you love some of these authors, let me know which of the 10 I should prioritize for next year!

1. Victoria Aveyard

2. R.F. Kuang

3. Angie Thomas

4. John Green

5. Tracy Deonn

6. Emily Henry

7. Holly Black

8. Tahereh Mafi

9. Colleen Hoover

10. Sabaa Tahir

Am I the only one who hasnโ€™t read some of these authors before? Who is a MUST read? Let me know in the comments bel

    1. I own The Cruel Prince and book 2 so I really should get to it, shouldnโ€™t I? I know less of the Shatter Me series so perhaps Iโ€™ll start with Holly Black then. I think this is the first time Iโ€™ve heard the other series was too dramatic. Is it in the sense of unbelievable plot/characters?

      1. The way the main character reacts to some things was way over the top and the writing made it really cringey sometimes. But I’ve read the first 3 books a few times each so it doesn’t bother me too much ๐Ÿ˜€
I think The Cruel Prince is better written but both series are a lot of fun.
