Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Normally I take this time for such a TTT topic to highlight all the releases I know I want to get my hands on on release day. Yet, I find that I rarely actually get to all (if most) of them during the season of their release. I’m such a mood reader, go figure.
So to make this a little more truthful (and hopefully self-fulfilling), I’m splitting the books on my TBR into books I want to read ASAP upon release this spring AND books I own that really need to be read (and I actually want to read yet always have excuses for reading something else first). Does anyone else have this problem?

Save the Date is loads of fun, and I thought The Last Graduate was better than the first book (like I needed less time to understand what was going on!).

I’m 100% terrible at reading the books that I say I want to read ASAP whether they’re recent releases or not 😂 I find it very easy to come up with one reason or another to not pick a book up so they’re forever languishing on the TBR, LOL! I’m very excited for Portrait of a Thief too though and I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!

Such a hard problem right? But libraries are great and I utilize it all the time. Just have to prioritize owned books some time of the year 😂

I loved Since You’ve Been Gone and her following books that I’ve read were fun. I had the pleasure of meeting Morgan a few years ago and was lucky to get my copy of Save the Date signed 🥺
