Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Good morning everyone! I have had such an amazing weekend celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. I missed travelling, even if it’s just to somewhere not too far away.
But now that I’ve rested a little from that mini vacation, I am back with a freebie topic for this week’s TTT. I have been looking forward to some releases coming out next year – waiting super impatiently, might I add – and I thought it’d be a great time to browse through some covers that have already been released.
Now, they always say “don’t judge a book by its cover”…but let’s be honest, how many of us still kinda do? A little bit?
I have collated some covers that personally look super intriguing to me from series/authors I have yet to read from. That way, I have no preconceived notions that would otherwise draw me to these books.
Let’s take a look below! 👀

- League of Liars by Astrid Scholte
- Sense and Second Degree Murder by Tirzah Price
- The Rumor Game by Dhionelle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra
- Chasing After Knight by Heather Buchta
- My Fine Fellow by Jennieke Cohen
- Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan
- Gallant by V.E. Schwab
- Hotel Magnifique by Emily J. Taylor
- A Forgery of Roses by Jessica S. Olson
- Charm by Tracy Wolff

If you were to look at these covers, would YOU want to pick them up and read it? Let me know in the comments below!

So many good ones! The cover for Sense and Second Degree murder is one of my favourites!

Yes! I dunno why I love hourglass covers so much. Reminds me also of Gena Showalter’s Firstlife

I agree! There is a lot of diversity across it overall these last few years and there’s a cover type that works for different people

Love your TTT this week! I definitely need to read more Indigenous authors and I’m glad they’re making this a special day on September 30 here in Canada
