Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Summer 2022 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Before I start off on todayโ€™s lovely TTT topic, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of you who wished me well after my bike accident last week. I always appreciate each and every one of you and your comments even if I may not have had the chance to respond to them yet. So from the bottom of my heart, thanks for being such a great community โ™ฅ๏ธ Iโ€™m healing well and hopefully will be fully recovered soon.

Todayโ€™s topic is about the books I want to read this summer. As usual, I like to read a collection of both new releases coming out this summer but also making space for other books I already own or havenโ€™t had the chance to read yet.

Have you read any of these yet? Are some of these on your summer list too?

Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Wishes

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Iโ€™m going to have to keep this TTT short as I had a bit of a bike accident yesterday and a lot of me hurts including both of my shredded palms.

I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s another bookish wishes list. Iโ€™ve had an amazing haul this weekend at a wonderful secondhand store with at least one find Iโ€™ve been dying to get my hands on.

But as always, thereโ€™re more Iโ€™d love to add to my shelf. Without further ado, here they are.

You can find a fuller list here at my Amazon wishlist.

Tell me what youโ€™re wishing for today!

Top Ten Tuesday: Stand-alone Books I Wish Had a Sequel

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Itโ€™s been one heck of a week and Iโ€™ve been neglecting the blog (whoops) because Iโ€™ve been getting back into writing stories of my own after a number of years of hiatus. It feels SO good to be creative again in a different way than blogging.

But I had to come back for TTT, so hereโ€™s my take on this weekโ€™s topic. Originally it was looking at books I wish had an epilogue, but I can never remember if an author actually wrote an epilogue (or something to that extent) for a book, so I changed it to โ€œStand-alone books I wished had a sequel or companion novelโ€.

Have you ever just wished you got to stay with the characters longer? Maybe sometimes there are loose plot lines that could be continued into a second book or enough world building laid out for a companion novel in the same universe.

Either way, itโ€™s something I wish for from time to time so hereโ€™s a collection of books that come to mind.
