About

DSC_0453 - Copy (462x640)So who am I, you may ask? My name is Andge. I’m just your average girl who loves to read and wants to share her love of reading with other readers/bloggers.

I am currently a student so that doesn’t always leave a lot of downtime for my favourite hobby, but I try my best whenever I have the time. My favourite genre and what will mostly be on this site are reviews of YA literature, although the odd Adult novels may be there too. Gotta read as much young adult material as I can before I start feeling too old for it, hmm? I hope that day never comes.

Anyway, I love comments so shoot me a message any time. All I know is, this site may be the start of my wildest dreams (and most time-consuming hobby).

P.S. yes, I do happen to love Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. She was, after all, a dreamer like I am.

Self

Whoa. Why is there a new face? It’s me, Fives. I’m also your average nerd who loves reading and likes to share his opinions about the books he reads.

Currently a student as well, but was asked by Andge to join and help contribute here on her blog. I am definitely not as experienced and well-versed as she might be here, but hopefully I can offer something new and exciting in addition to the already rich content. Hopefully you will enjoy my content too and I will see you all around!

I grew up loving series such as Harry Potter and A Series of Unfortunate Events. Used to be a big fan of the magic and fantastical adventures. Now as I am older I have been exploring more real-life kind of genres. I have been especially interested recently in psychological thrillers and whodunnit kind of novels, and I enjoy reading about strong (especially female) protagonists. Hopefully I can share this love with you all as well.

Hope to see you around! Leave a comment for me too, if you so wish. Mischief managed.

  1. My fave quote from Lewis Carroll is from Through The Looking Glass –

“Well, in our country,” said Alice, still panting a little, “you’d generally get to somewhere else—if you run very fast for a long time, as we’ve been doing.”

“A slow sort of country!” said the Queen. “Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”

Squishy hugs of excitement today 😀

  2. Hi Andge,

My name is Shaun and I’m an author, just wondering if you would consider reviewing my book in exchange for a free ebook copy?

Here is a link to my fantasy novel (Ewan Pendle and the White Wraith) on amazon, so you can have a look and decide if it may or may not be something you would be interested in reading – http://amzn.eu/6FjYTA3

Thanks for taking the time to consider my enquiry, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Shaun
