The ABC Book Challenge ~ E

The ABC book challenge features a fun weekly post dedicated to interesting books that have been read or would hopefully be read starting with a specific letter of the alphabet.

While I do not know the original creator for this, I have seen this posted by Sofii (A Book. A Thought) and Tiana (The Book Raven ). Check out their sites ’cause they are amazing!

And this week, we’re onto the letter “E”!

Memorable titles starting with “E”

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine: I grew up reading Gail Carson Levine princess stories, including this lovely Cinderella retelling with a beautiful twist. All her stories are filled with imaginative creatures (and languages) and creative plots. And let’s not forget the bold and fierce females!

Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill: A land where magical people are hunted? Romantic tensions between a pair of misunderstood protagonists? This was the perfect fantasy formula that got my heart racing for a wonderful ride.

Everless by Sara Holland: Uniquely creative in a world where people tie time to their blood and use it as currency, this debut was intriguing from the start with unforeseen twists!

Titles I want to read starting with “E”

The Empress by S.J. Kincaid: The sequel to the sci fi, Diabolic, I’m anxious to see what awaits a protagonist I felt so empathetic for. Especially ’cause she’s not quite fully human (which always makes for something more fun to write in that POV)!

Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza: I remember wanting to read this for the longest time and even borrowed it from the library once. I really need to actually get through this sci fi novel once and for all!

Escaping from Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco: I know it’s like the 3rd book in the series so I suppose I’ll have to read it later but maybe this isn’t as scary? Especially with book 1 and 2 about Jack the Ripper and Dracula? Maybe?

Have you read some of these? Are you excited for the books I have/haven’t read too?
